Using plink

Plink is a tool coming with the Putty set of utilities. It offer a very nice command line terminal for use with serial port.

To use it install Putty on the Raspberrypi:

$ sudo apt-get install putty

Then use as follow to read the serial string from a RPICT series board:

$ plink -serial /dev/ttyAMA0 -sercfg 38400
